Brow Lift & Forehead Lift
Elevate Drooping Eyebrows & Remove Worry Lines.
Schedule Consultation
Forehead brow lifting is designed to reverse the effects of gravity that result in a lowering of the brow over time. Often, the result is a tired, angry appearance. Heavy brows, "hooding" and excess upper lid skin is improved and refreshed with a browlift procedure. Some browlift techniques can also minimize "frown lines".

The Brow Lift & Forehead Lift Procedure
What To Expect During Your Brow Lift or Forehead Lift Surgery.
Patients are sedated (see Anesthesia for more details) and the forehead area is anesthetized with local anesthetic. Browlift surgery takes one to two hours during which time "frown" muscles are removed and deep wrinkling "plumped up" with grafts of the patient's own connective tissue. Deep suspension sutures are placed to elevate the brow and excess skin is removed. A pressure dressing is wrapped around the forehead.
Recovery from a Brow Lift or Forehead Lift
How To Properly Recover From Your Brow Lift or Forehead Lift Procedure.
Rest, head elevation and ice packs are recommended upon arriving at home. The dressing is removed the next day and the hair washed, conditioned, combed out and blown dry at the office. Instructions are given to wash the hair every day as usual for seven to ten days whereupon the sutures are removed. Headache pain lasting up to two days may be treated with prescribed pain medications.
Swelling and bruising may last one to two weeks and scalp numbness can last several months. Moderate activity may resume after ten days. After photos are usually taken two to three months after surgery.
